In September 2014 the exhibition opened in Punkt Ø Gallery F 15, in Moss, Norway. The exhibition received much praise from the audience as well as from the leading Norwegian art critics Mona Pahle Bjerke and Lars Eton. In December of that year, the Silent Space – Intensified Integrities was chosen as one of the top 10 exhibitions in Norway in 2014 by Lars Eton. A program for school was also organized during the exhibition period. Gallery F 15 is a leading art institution in Norway and the Nordic region. The gallery shows Norwegian, Nordic and international contemporary art. The exhibitions are both experimental and exploratory in their format, focusing on facilitating intellectual and critical reflection.
PARTICIPATING ARTISTS
Lise Bjørne Linnert’s 65.299 KNOTS – A PAIN REGISTRY is an installation based on the experience of pain and is brought together with a selection of pulse drawings.
Marja Helander’s SILENCE explores the contradiction between nature and industrial areas and features photographs of a Sámi region in Northern Scandinavia and in the Kola Peninsula in Russia.
Nina Backman’s video work AINO – Silence Protest.
Sari Palosaari’s MINIMAL ROMANTIC explores the contradiction between the visual language of architecture and the reality of the place.
Mia Hamaris’ sculptures SIBERIA and JESTER.
Lene Berg’s SHAVING OF THE BARONESS is a homage to the Baroness Elsa von Freytag- Loringhoven, who died in poverty and has been forgotten by history.
