Several Silence Meals were organized during the exhibition at the Gallen-Kallella Museum. The first Silence Meal was staged before the opening for invited guests, artists and press with the exhibited artworks in the background. After this meal, the traces from it were maintained as an installation that included sound for the exhibition. In Tarvaspää, the Finnish chef Sami Tallberg was responsible for the cuisine. He specializes in making vegetarian meals that are seasonal, local and often wild, using ingredients from nature and the local forests. Photography by Annakaisa Halinen.
